Reading this story leaves me with a lot of unanswered questions. Questions on the “affiliation” & background on these people. On first glance it compels me to think 800 POUNDS! these were out-of-town people helped by locals. Thinking deeper were these people care providers for a large amount of people? 2# per person would be only 400 people. They also were growing on multiple locations, how much per location? 100#’s per 8 locations would be 50 people per location @ 2 pounds per person. Here in Arcata, the Humboldt co-operative THC dispensary has 6-7000+ patients they provide medical marijuana. I recently spoke with the owner, he stated he paid $600,000 in taxes.
I hate the mentality that you can grow marijuana, just don’t do it with other people or for a lot of patients in need of medical marijuana. You can be compensated, just don’t put all your time in energy into it, and be good at it. “It” as in helping patients in need, Tax revenue and be helped yourself.
